Why we started Take Stock

We loved the taste and health effects of consuming bone broth, but with 4 kids, busy jobs and gruesome homeschooling, we were always short on time, without hours to simmer pans of bones to feed our greedy crew!
With bare supermarket shelves at the outset of lockdown, we wanted something convenient and store cupboard friendly, but also delicious and natural as a handy meal or snack.
We spent months searching for the ultimate source of ingredients and production, and following numerous experiments and blind tasting sessions, the ultimate recipes for Bone Broth were formulated.
And the result - we took the plunge, and decided to pour our savings (literally) into bone broth - and Take Stock was born!

Food Philosophy

Take Stock is about real food, just bones, vegetables and herbs - unlike so many so-called ‘health’ foods.
We are firm believers that people should only consume things that are natural and unprocessed, without additives or preservatives. Foods where you can recognise all the ingredients on the packet, which do not stretch to paragraphs of text or words like ‘xynochloripithide’ and that our grandparents would have made.
Take Stock is 100% natural, with no additives or preservatives, and 100% delicious as rubber stamped by our award winning status.
