Why Take Stock?
Our bone broth is cooked using traditional methods in small batches, to extract all the flavour and nutrients from the ingredients.
We use a simple process, during which meaty bones are roasted with vegetables. This low intervention production method delivers a deep, rich, and authentic broth which tastes just as if we made it in our own kitchen.
A key part of the process that delivers our incredible flavour is the way we treat our bone broths. Other brands reduce their broth to a concentrated syrup, transport it to a packaging facility, and then over-dilute it to bulk out the product. The only water added to Take Stock’s broths is at the beginning of the simmering process, and we package the end product on-site as soon as each batch has been made.
We are confident that once you try our broth, you will never again feel the need to make it yourself. Use this tasty broth in many ways; heat it up and sip it solo, add it to soups and sauces, or even put it in a smoothie.

Bone Broth is a favourite caffeine free substitute for your normal beverage or a snack or meal replacement. Each flavour has a different nutritional profile and set of health benefits, but all of them are gluten-free, dairy-free, and yeast-free. That’s why we call it the original superfood.
Our Norwegian suppliers are passionate about the health and wellbeing of their animals. Norway has one of the best standards of welfare in the world; smaller farms, more space and a colder climate which all come together to create prime conditions for healthy, well cared for animals. Norwegian cattle have only about half the climate footprint per kilogram of protein produced, compared to the rest of the world.
Our Bone Broth is packaged and sealed in our sustainable IPI packaging in an airtight aseptic environment. The IPI carton is similar to TetraPack, but has a resealable cap for handy fridge friendly storage and re-use.
The packaging is made from 90% renewable sources - paperboard and biopolyethylene for the cap. The carton is made from FSC certified papercoard from responsibly managed forests and is certified against the ASI performance standard. Everything is 100% recyclable. The separation of the paperboard from the aluminium and polyethylene means a second life is possible for all the raw materials.
Healthy Fast Food
Our broth is store cupboard friendly. The shelf life of the product is up to 24 months, meaning it can be kept at room temperature without taking up valuable fridge space.
Following the simmering process, sufficient heat is applied to ensure that it's sterile. The subtle heat of the simmering process enhances the flavour of our Bone Broth, and with no preservatives or additives, we are the most flavourful and nutritionally packed option out there.
